8 days. 8 days and we'll be on a plane to Texas. 8 days and we'll be meeting others from around the country with the same calling as us; to share to gospel with the nations. 8 days and we'll be in the midst of interviews and small groups praying to discern if the Lord is indeed leading us to go to Osaka, Japan and share the gospel with those who have never heard. Praying if now is the time. Praying if we partner with this mission organization and if they partner with us. It's an exciting time that we've been waiting for with anticipation. In the midst of all the  "what-if's?" God reminded me that He is Sovereign. Yes, I need to be reminded often it seems. There is nothing in our past, present and future that He has not seen or planned for. He brought us to this moment. Whatever happens as a result of this conference is in His hands. That is comforting! Now I can look forward to the sweet fellowship with these other believers and being able to find out more about the vision of the mission board. And being in warm weather, surrounded by southern accents and sweet tea. What a wonderful place :) Oh, and did I mention that these 5 days we will be leaving Evylin with Grayden's parents? So, while this is kind of like a vacation for us...pray for their sanity and ours as well ;)
