As the New Year passes and offerings in Southern Baptist churches around the country have been taken up, I can't help but wonder when. When will we know? When will we go? Is it in 6 months or another year? All these questions. I was reminded this weekend at church of what Paul asked his friends in Ephesus to pray for him. He asked that he would declare the gospel clearly and boldly. He was in chains, death awaited him and he didn't ask for prayer concerning the changing of his situation. Only that right where God had him, he would faithfully, boldly and clearly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you are reading this, would you pray this for us? We will go to Japan in His timing and will. While we are here however I pray that we would declare the gospel clearly and courageously.
