At least one of us is going to Japan. This time it's Grayden. Although I wish that Evy and I could go with him, I am excited for the opportunity God has given him. This will be his first time. We've been trying to get there since we've been married as missionaries through the IMB, but Grayden has never actually been to Japan. He's leaving tomorrow and will be there for ten days with 3 other people from our church. Christmas time is a wide open door for sharing the gospel in Japan. There are Christmas decorations everywhere, but very few know the real meaning of it all. This is a wonderful time to share the joy of Christmas with those who would otherwise celebrate it as just another holiday. Please pray for open doors for the team of 4 that are going and for the missionaries they will be joining over there. Also, please pray for spiritual protection. During and after mission trips I am reminded that we do not fight against flesh and blood. There is a different kind of warfare that happens around mission trips. Please pray for the armor of God to protect those going, during the trip and especially afterwards. Thanks!
